The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the supply, installation, start-up, and training of one (1) new manually controlled horizontal boring mill machine suitable for co-ordinate machining (drilling, boring, milling, and thread cutting) of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites to required three dimensional shapes to precise tolerances for surface and underwater vessels, i.e. mounting plates, valve chests, hatch covers, pipe flanges, and armament parts.
