Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Horizontal Bending Machine W355B-227588/A Beck, Sue Telephone No. - (902) 240-5159 ( ) Fax No. - (902) 496-5016 ( ) Line 1, Horizontal Bending Machine REQUIREMENT: The Department of National Defence (DND), Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Scott (FMFCS) maintains and services all the vessels assigned to MARLANT. As part of its ongoing work a Horizontal Bending Machine is required to bend simple metal shapes. Supply, delivery, installation, set-up, training, and warranty will be required for this requirement. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: All deliverables to be received on or before March 31, 2022. SECURITY: There is a Reliability Requirement with this Solicitation. BASIS OF SELECTION: A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. EPOST CONNECT SERVICE: This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information. DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. Further specifications and information are contained in the solicitation package.
