Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: PSAB Steam Boiler for CFS Alert W0125-18MW01/A Choquette, Herb Telephone No. - (613) 536-4874 Fax No. - (613) 545-8067 Email: Herb.Choquette@PWGSC.gc.ca Supply only (1) Weil-McLain boiler, model # BL-588-SF Requirements will be for steam boiler with Riello burner as per model #RL 38/M including: boiler must be fueled by oil boiler must be assembled boiler must be hydrostatic tested to manufacturer’s standards all controls as in low water cut offs, high water cut offs The boiler will be installed by Nasittuk contract personnel at CFS Alert who will complete the certification. Pressure controls and high limits are on site and not required. Delivery Address 8 Wing Replenishment Flight - Attention: Materiel Distribution Centre 30 East North Star Drive, Bldg 66, Astra, ON, K0K 3W0 Appropriate MSDS forms if required shall be attached externally with the product. CFB Trenton personnel will pack the boiler for shipping by air to CFS Alert. There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. 1.2.2 This procurement is set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. For more information on Aboriginal business requirements of the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal Business see Annex 9.4 of the Supply Manual. This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Aboriginal peoples or for set-asides for small and minority businesses. Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement. This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s): - Nunavut Land Claims Agreement This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation, to the Identified Users across Canada, including areas subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements. The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement; see Part 5 - Certifications, Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses and the annex titled Federal Contractors Program for Employment Equity - Certification. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
