Mandatory Site Visit

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on Wednesday September 5th 2018, at 10:00 am at the CFHA office at 40 Lundys Lane on the Canadian Forces Base located in Kingston, Ontario.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Tuesday 4th September 2018  to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. 

Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

A contract is required for the provision of cleaning services for The Housing Services Centre in Kingston, as detailed in Annex "A" which manages approximately 470 residential housing units (RHU), 144 of which are apartments.

This contract is for the period 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019 with Canada having the option of extending the contract for one additional one (1) year period.
