Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Electric Motors Repair and Overhaul The Wing Construction Engineering (WCE) Unit at CFB Trenton is responsible for the repair of electrical motors of various types and sizes, which are used for building and facility operations and life safety maintenance equipment. In the performance of this responsibility, there exists on occasion a requirement for a licensed electrical company, with qualified electrical motors tradesperson's and electrical trade equipment, in the eventuality of motor breakdowns that require repairs. The offeror will be responsible for transportation, repair, replacement parts and disposal, if determined by the Project Authority (PA), for CFB Trenton, on an "as and when" requested basis from: Wing Construction Engineering, CFB Trenton The period of the Standing Offer is from March 1st, 2021 to February 28th, 2025. Note: This request for standing offer contains MANDATORY criteria. To be considered responsive, an offer must meet all mandatory technical criteria identified. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposal process. Bidders should make the request to the Contract Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. Suppliers are requested to provide any questions, concerns and required information, concerning the RFP, by e-mail, if they so desire.
