Amendment 02 Delete: Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at a location To be determined NS on January 22, 2014 @ 10:00am Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on January 20, 2015, and January 21,2015 @ 0900 at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Dartmouth NS Insert: Due to operational priorities, the CCGS Earl Grey has been redeployed to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence area and the vessel cannot be made available at the CCG Base in Dartmouth, NS. Therefore the Vessel Viewing and Bidders Conference has been relocated according to the following changes. Vessel viewing and the conference are nearby in adjacent towns. Bidders Conference: A Bidders Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Stellarton on January 22, 2014 @ 9:00 am. Address is 86 Lawrence Blvd, Stellarton, NS, B0K 1S0. Phone: 902 755 1020. Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on January 20, 2015, and January 21, 2015 @ 9:00am onboard the CCGS Earl Grey. The vessel will be moored alongside the Government Wharf at the foot of Depot Street in Pictou, NS. Amendment 1 Delete: Work Period: Work Perod: March 1, 2015 Complete: January 15, 2016 Insert: Work Period: Work Perod: March 11, 2015 Complete: January 15, 2016 ORIGINAL Requirement: To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS Earl Grey" in accordance with the provided Specification No: 14-E006-007-1, December 10, 2014 Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes. The bid must take into account a maximum budget of $11,850,000 Bidders' Conference: A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at a location To be determined NS on January 22, 2014 @ 10:00am Site Visit - Vessel: The viewing will take place on January 20, 2015, and January 21, 2015 @ 0900 at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Dartmouth NS Destination: The work shall be carried out at Contractors facility. Work Period: Work Perod: March 1, 2015 Complete: January 15, 2016 Additional Instructions to Work Period: The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care and custody of the Contractor and under its control. The vessel will have to be made completely habitable for the ships crew by January 2 2016. Sourcing Strategy: The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
