Amendment 003 is raised to formally amend and incorporate the following: 1. Add an Allowance clause for the Lead Abatement; 2. Amend ANNEX H - Appendix 1 - PRICING DATA SHEET to include the Lead Abatement allowance of $80,000.00; 3. Post bidders questions and Canada’s responses in Annex L. Amendment 002 is raised to notify industry that the mandatory visit to the work site and the bidders’ conference has been cancelled due to no attendance confirmations by industry. Requirement: The Contractor must carry out the dry-docking, maintenance and alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard Vessel CCGS Samuel Risley in accordance with the solicitation and its attached documents. Work Period: Commence: September 18, 2019. Complete: November 27, 2019. Additional Instructions to Work Period: From refit start date to the end of the work period, when the vessel will be unmanned during that period, it will be considered to be out of commission and it will be in the care and custody of the Contractor and under its control. Sourcing Strategy: The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy, and is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4). The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
