Project title: Development of enabling space technologies for future international Human Spaceflight (HSF) collaborations 

Description: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Canadian Space Agency (CSA) located in St-Hubert, (Quebec), is seeking bids to develop and advance three (3) enabling Priority Technologies related to potential opportunities for Canadian participation in future international Human Spaceflight (HSF) collaborations. Priority Technologies are those that have been established by the CSA as the critical technologies to be developed to meet objectives set forth by the Canadian Space Strategy. 

For every Priority Technologies (PTs) the work solicited is the development and advancement of these technologies up to potentially Technology Readiness Level 6 (TRL 6) to reduce technical uncertainties and support approval and implementation of specific potential future space missions of interest to Canada.

Period of Contract: Depending on the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) covered by each technology development contract periods are expected to vary between 12 and 30 months.

Intellectual Property: The Intellectual property will vest with the contractor.

Security Requirements: There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.

Trade agreements: This requirement is not subject to the trade agreements.

Canadian Content: The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and Canadian services.

Controlled Goods Program: This procurement could be subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA)."
