    The project consists of renovating and expanding Correctional
    Service Canada's Archambault Institution's RMHC in
    Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, as per drawings and specifications.
    Duration of works shall not exceed fifteen (15) months from the
    date of notification of acceptance of the offer. 
    Activities will include, amongst others: 
    Temporary and permanent site development work; 
    Temporary and permanent modifications to existing fences; 
    Installation of security measures for the construction site
    areas; 
    Construction of an ~ 995 m² extension on two levels; 
    Renovation of ~ 181 m² of existing spaces; 
    Connections to existing utilities and services; 
    Connecting all furniture to required services; 
    Modifications and additions to existing safety systems; 
    Installation of security hardware; 
    Demolition and removal of modular buildings; 
    
    The construction work will be carried out in phases, based on
    the planning outlined in the construction documents. The RMHC
    and the Institution's operations will be maintained throughout
    as per the planned temporary accommodations. 
    
    Total  estimate for the contract is more than $5,000,000
    
    Site Visit : There will be an optional (but strongly
    recommended) site visit to be held on May 21, 2015 at 1:30 pm. 
    The meeting point will be at the entrance of Building A-2 of the
    Archambault Institution located at 242 Montée Gagnon in
    Ste-Anne-des-Plaines (QC), J0N 1H0
    
    Contractor personnel shall submit to a local verification of
    identity or information by Correctional Service Canada (CSC)
    prior to admittance to the facility/site. Correctional Service
    Canada reserves the right to deny access to any facility/site
    part thereof of any Contractor personnel, at any time.
    
    Contractors who wish to attend the bidders' visit must complete
    the "Institutional Access" form (CSC 1279), sign it and send it
    at least TEN (10) work days prior to the visit to the following
    email address: 341-Projets@CSC-SCC.GC.CA
