    Steam Boiler and control maintenance and repair services
    
    Description:
    To provide the tools, equipment and labour necessary for the maintenance, inspection and repair of steam boilers and controls at the Saint-Jean Garrison, the Farnham Training Center and the Drummondville, Saint-Hyacinthe and Sherbrooke armouries.
    
    The period of the contract is from contract award to November 30, 2021 with the possibility of 4 additional one year periods.

    Optional site visit:
    It is recommended that the tenderer, or a representative of the Bidder, visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit, to be held at the B-151 building (Thermal Station) at the St-Jean Garrison on December 15, 2020. The site visit will begin at 10:00 EST. The meeting point will be at 35 Grand Bernier South, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, J0J1R0. Staff will be on hand to welcome visitors.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 24 hours before the date of the visit, to confirm attendance and provide the name (s) of the person (s) who will attend, as well as the name of the company that will be attending. 
    
    Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we ask the proponents to comply with the following measures:
    a. A maximum of one (1) person per firm is permitted.
    b. You will need to identify yourself to the person in charge of the visit at the receptionc. Wearing a mask is mandatory during the visit.
    d. The principles of distance, two (2) meters between each person, must be respected.
    e. Latecomers should go to security and should follow the tour from the time they join or may be denied access.
    f. Please contact the Contracting Authority if, within fifteen (15) days after the visit, visitors shows signs of COVID-19.
    
    Enquiries during the solicitation period
    Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address jessicacossettefontaine@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca and should be received no later than 10 days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
    
    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
