PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work covered by this contract consists of the replacement of 28 steam humidifiers at the minimum and medium Archambault institutions also at the CRR in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines. Principal parts of the work are: the demolition of existing systems, installation of steam and electric humidifiers, steam and electrical connections, water softener installation, thermal insulation and commissioning. There will be an optional site visit on November 16th, 2017 at 09h00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at 244 montée Gagnon, Ste-Anne-Des-Plaines, Qué. J0N 1H0 (see attached drawing). Contractors who wish to attend the bidders’ visit must complete the "CSC-1279-343-3401" form, sign it and send it with a copy of the driver’s license within 5 working days prior to the visit to the following email address: 341-Projets@CSC-SCC.GC.CA MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE - The Bidder must enclose bid security with its bid. MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD - INTEGRITY PROVISIONS: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide the names within the time-frame specified will render the bid non-responsive. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals mentioned above within a specified time frame. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time frame provided, or failure to cooperate to the verification process will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The Contractor must, at the Contractor's expense, obtain and maintain insurance contracts in accordance with the requirements of the Certificate of Insurance. PERIOD OF WORK Construction work must be completed no later than 20 weeks from the date of contract award.
