Closing date for the above mentioned project has been postponed until December 3, 2020 at 2:00pm. ---------------------------- Addendum 001: Questions and answers 1 to 5. ----------------------------- JANITORIAL SERVICES - ST-JEAN GARRISON Description To provide Janitorial Services including all labour, material and equipment for the Department of National Defence at the Longue-Pointe Garrison in Montreal (QC), Canada. The services must be provided in accordance with the Technical Specification attached at Annex "A". The period of the contract is for 2 years with the possibility of 3 optional years Security Requirement This procurement is subject to Security requirements. epost Connect service: This tender is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada’s initiative to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Optional site visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the St Jean Garrison: 35 Grand Bernier sud St-Jean-sur-Richelieu J0J 1R0 On November 5th, 2020. The site visit will begin at 10h00 EST, in The meeting point will be the Building B-182 Megastructure, (main entrance where the flags are, take the stairs and at the top you will find "La Rotonde"). Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 48hrs prior to the visit date to confirm attendance and provide the name of the person who will attend. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we ask the bidders to comply with the following measures: a. A maximum of one (1) person per firm is permitted. b. You will need to identify yourself to the person organizing the visit at the reception. c. We request you to wear a mask during the entire visit, both indoors and outdoors. d. The principles of "distancing", two (2) meters between each person, must be respected. e. Latecomers should go to security and will follow the tour from the moment they join. Please contact the Contracting Authority if, within fifteen (15) days of the visit, the visitor shows signs of COVID-19. Enquiries during the solicitation period Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address mariapia.aguilera@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, enquiries should be received no later than 5 business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
