    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) -
    Environmental Services (ES) has been retained by the Department
    of National Defence (DND) to manage the abatement of hazardous
    materials from the Nose Dock Hangar in Iqaluit, Nunavut. 
    
    All work to be completed in accordance to these specifications
    and in compliance with all relevant Codes, Guidelines,
    Standards, Criteria, Acts and Regulations. 
    
    The scope of work to be completed by the Contractor includes the
    abatement and off-site disposal of materials containing
    asbestos, lead, mercury and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
    
    Proponents are hereby informed that this procurement is subject
    to the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, Article 24 - Government
    Contracts.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to
    comply may result in rejection of your bid. 
    
    Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid
