Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / CPTPP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Patent Databases Search Tool U8105-197461/A Friesen, Manon Telephone No. - (240) 645-5666 REF: Request for Proposal for Patent Databases Search Tool (PDST) This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) (the "Client") for Licensed Software Subscription Services to access a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Patent Databases Search Tool (PDST). The bid solicitation is intended to result in the award of a contract for the period of one year, with four one-year option(s), allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract. The scope of the bid solicitation includes: COTS Licensed Software Subscription Services to access a tool to search patent databases for up to 500 Users, meeting all the requirements as stated in Annex A, Statement of Requirement (SOR). The COTS Licensed Software Subscription Services must include a twelve-month warranty, support services, documentation and training services. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (CColFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement: see Part 5 - Certifications, Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses and the form titled "Federal Contractors Program for Employment Equity - Certification". Security requirement will only apply if the Bidder chooses to offer a VPN access, or any access that constitutes a connection directly to the Client secure network, as indicated in Annex A, as part as their bid proposal. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
