Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Amendment 004 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended to April 30, 2017, 2:00 pm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amendment 003 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended to March 28, 2018, 2:00 pm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amendment 002 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended to March 14, 2018, 2:00 pm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amendment 001 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended to February 28, 2018, 2:00 pm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REQUIREMENT Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for Protective Search Gloves, Male & Female, Goatskin or Cowhide Leather with a cut, tear and puncture resistant high strength, lightweight, synthetic fiber/fibers knitted lining, with a cuff and an elasticized wrist, floating thumb and fourchettes construction. The glove must fit snugly, allow the required dexterity for effective frisking and must provide cut-resistance through the entire glove. The gloves must be manufactured in accordance with Purchase Description CAG-2-1510-784E The finished gloves must be tested in accordance with BS EN388: 2016 - Protective Gloves Against Mechanical Risks and BS 420:2003 - General Requirements for Protective Gloves and meet the requirements specified in Appendix A of the Purchase Description (blade cut resistance, tear resistance, puncture resistance and glove dexterity). FIRM QUANTITY Item 1 - 4,000 pairs It is requested that the first shipment of the firm deliverables be made within 45 calendar days from the written notice of approval of the production sample. Delivery must be made to the CSC National Depot in Laval, Quebec. ESTIMATED QUANTITY (AS & WHEN REQUESTED) Item 2 - 3,000 pairs The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by Correctional Service Canada for a period of 36 months from the effective date of the contract. Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the estimated quantity is only an approximation of requirements. OPTIONS This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchase an additional quantity as follows: Option 1: for a maximum of 3,000 pairs exercisable within 24 months from contract award. Option 2: for a maximum of 3,000 pairs exercisable within 36 months from contract award. PRE-AWARD SAMPLE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION A pre-award sample and laboratory test results must be submitted with the bid. ENQUIRIES To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
