information and to extend the closing date to 11-June-2014.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for
the procurement of Carrier, External, LoadCarrying to be
supplied in various sizes for delivery to the RCMP in Ottawa,
Ontario.  Viewing samples will be provided to bidders who will
be requested to provide a pre-award sample.

Technical Requirements:  All Carrier, External, Load Carrying
must be manufactured in accordance with the RCMP specification
G.S. 1045-360 dated 2014-02-11, drawings, and viewing sample.  

Viewing Samples:   Samples shall be available for viewing at the
following Department of Public Works and Government Services
Regional Offices:  Quebec City (Quebec); Montreal (Quebec);
Mississauga (Ontario); Winnipeg (Manitoba); Edmonton (Alberta);
Vancouver (B.C.) and Gatineau (Quebec).

Firm Quantity:  Item 001 - quantity:  6,500
Estimated Quantity: Item 002:  "As and When Requested" Regular
Sizes; quantity:  2,500

Option Quantity #1:  up to a maximum of 5,000 
Option Quantity #2:  up to a maximum of 5,000 

Delivery to the RCMP in Ottawa, Ontario:
Item 001:  Delivery of the firm quantity is requested for
completion as specified in the solicitation.

Item 002:  Regular sizes may be ordered on an "as and when
requested" basis within 24 months of contract award.

Option Quantities #1:  may be ordered within 24 months of
contract award
Option Quantities #2:  may be ordered within 36 months of
contract award

Canadian Content Policy:  This requirement is subject to the
Canadian Content Policy and is Solely Limited to Canadian Goods
as defined in clause K4000D Canadian Content Definition.

Enquiries:  To ensure a response before the bid closing date,
all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in
writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven
(7) calendar days prior to the closing date.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
