    Requirement:
    The Offeror is required to provide Canada for Correctional Services Canada with “Soft Body Armour - Ballistic (system consisting of front and back ballistic pad set and external carriers) for a 36-month period with the possibility of two 12-month extension periods, for delivery points across Canada as detailed in each Call-Up document and all in accordance with the Purchase Description CSC/SCC-2017-01-31 detailed in Annex “B”.
    
    
    Period of the Standing Offer:
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from date of standing offer issuance to 31-March-2020.
    
    
    Delivery
    Delivery must be completed in accordance with the call-up against the Standing Offer.

    Pre-Award Sample and Supporting Documentation
    As part of the technical evaluation, to confirm an Offeror's capability of meeting the technical requirements, one (1) pre-award sample of Item 001:  Soft Body Armour - Ballistic (consisting of front and back panels as well as an external carrier), in accordance with the Purchase Description CSC/SCC-2017-01-31, and test results (refer to the Purchase Description CSC/SCC-2017-01-31) must be included with the offer.
    
    • In accordance with the Purchase Description at paragraph 4.9. TESTING LABS - All certification testing must be performed by an independent laboratory approved by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) National Law Enforcement Technology Center (NLETC) for testing in accordance with the NIJ 0101.06 Standard for Bullet Resistant Body Armour.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
