Canada has a requirement to establish a National Master Standing
Offer (NMSO) for the supply of Medical  Supplies, on an as and
when requested basis, to any authorized representative of a
Federal Government department, departmental corporation, or
agency.

This NMSO is intended to be used for the widespread and
repetitive procurement of low cost, commercially available
medical supplies.

The proposed NMSO will be for a one (1) year period with the
option to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year
periods.

While a complete list of requirements are identified in the
Request for Standing Offer document, some requirements a
successful Offeror must meet are:

(a)	the ability to offer a minimum of 80% of the products listed
in the Price Submission
 	Template;
(b)	have manufacturer authorization to distribute their products
nationally within Canada;
(c)	have an annual medical sales volume of at least $500,000.00;
and
(d)	have a valid Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL)

There will be a maximum of three standing offers authorized
under this NMSO.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
