Breakwater Wharf Construction at the Caribou Harbour Facility,
Nova Scotia
Project description: PWGSC on behalf of Department of Fisheries
and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours has a requirement for the
modification of the exisitng SSP wharf structure, extension of
the existing wharf structure to create a new service area,
construction of a new pile work finger pier wharf structure,
including supply and installation of timber and steel piles,
concrete pile caps, deck, wheel guard, and seawall, timber
fenders, sheathing and ladders, mooring cleats, fire access
manholes, and a new electrical system for lighting and power
supply at the Caribou Harbour Facility, Pictou County, Nova
Scotia. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work
within 112 weeks (December 31, 2016) from the date of
notification of acceptance of the offer.
Work is to be completed by December 31, 2016. The estimated cost
for this opportunity is greater than $5M.
