The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement, on behalf of Environment and Climate Change Canada, to replace the Sable Island fuel storage tank system and remove the old tanks.

The replacement of the fuel storage tank system is to be completed by October 30, 2016.  The removal of the old tank system from Sable Island is to be completed by March 31, 2017.
