    Work of this Contract comprises of the replacement of three existing heating oil storage systems and two existing waste oil storage systems located at the St. Andrews Biological Station located in St. Andrews, NB. The systems are:
    • Esther Lord Building Heating Oil;
    • Medcof Building Heating Oil;
    • Conference Centre Heating Oil;
    • Lauzier Building Waste Oil; and,
    • Filter Building Waste Oil.
    The Work will be completed by a petroleum contractor licensed in the province of New Brunswick.
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number: R.070007.019 forming part of the bid document.
    The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category:  less than $100,000 (HST included).
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by March 30,  2017.
    There will beanoptional site visit on January 31, 2017 at 11:00 hours. All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Saint Andrews Biological Station, Saint Andrews, New Brunswick.  Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tenderfor this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.  It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions.  Anyclarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.  Please note that this will be the only site visit for this project.  No other site visits will be arranged during the tender period.
    New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
    A public bid opening will be heldat the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
