    Ventilation System, Building C16, Dorchester
    CORCAN Construction has the requirement for the furninshing of all necessary tools, plant, services, materials and labour to execute and complete the following work in a careful and workmanlike manner:
    Supply and installation of a new ventilation system and its components, including but not limited to:
    - All ducting, piping, equipment, vents, grills and valves
    - Commissioning the system to include testing, balancing and training
    Supply and installation of all controls for the new ventilation system as it relates to the new building system and the exiting institutional building control system:
    - Including valves and actuators as well as testing, certification and training
    - All temporary disconnection and connections
    - New installed system will be compatible with existing Building Control System
    The contractor shall perform and complete the work within 20 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer
    There will be an optional site visit on September 8, 2016 at 10:30 am.  All interested bidders are to meet at the Multi-Purpose Building, Building F114 Westmorland Institution, Dorchester, New Brunswick.  Although not mandatory, all  contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    NOTE:  If you plan to attend the site visit, please confirm your attendance to Sandra Lomax by email at sandra.lomax@pwgsc.gc.caor by phone at (506) 636-4362 bynot later than 2:00 pm September 7, 2016.
    A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, 405, 189 Prince William Street,Saint John, N.B.
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the followingcost category:  $250,001 to $500,000 (HST extra).  Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
