    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for a contract, which consists of but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
    The Contractor must complete the following:
    Replacement of the three (3) existing steam boilers, with new steam
    boilers. Replacement of existing condensate tank and leader, complete with new feedwater pumps.  Installation of a new blow-down tank & automated conductivity based blow-down control system. Replacement of existing steam header, including all piping necessary to make interconnections to existing lines.
    The work location is the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, 440 University Ave, Charlottetown, PEI. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.106541.001 forming part of the bid document.  
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (28) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    There will be an optional site visit on March 03, 2020 at 10:00 am. All interested bidders are to meet in the main lobby of the AAFC Charlottetown Research and Development Center - 440 University Ave, Charlottetown, PEI. Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    Note: If you plan to attend the site visit, please confirm your attendance to Edward Johnston by e-mail at Edward.johnston@pwgsc.gc.ca or by fax at (506) 636-4376 by no later than 4:00 pm on March 02, 2020.
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $1,000,001 - $5,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
    
    A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Sherwood Business Centre, 161 St. Peters Road, 2nd Floor, Suite 204
    Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
