Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EA003-182457A Woodman, Alexis Telephone No. - (709) 772-2980 Fax No. - (709) 772-4603 Alexis.woodman@pwgsc.gc.ca Molecular and Tissue Lab Refit, St. John’s Research & Development Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Foods Canada, St. John’s, NL Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement that consists of interior building renovations for existing labs M25-15 and M25-16, as well as the adjoining incubation room (M25-14), as shown on the drawings and specifications. Work to include the demolition of existing surfaces, finishes and equipment to allow for complete asbestos containing materials (ACM) removal in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. Installation of new interior construction and finishes will include all architectural, mechanical and electrical work to complete the refitted lab spaces. Before submitting a bid, it is recommended the bidders visit the site and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed and the means of access to the site. Contractors, bidders or those they invite to site should refer to Section 01 35 29.06, Item 1.8 Project/Site Conditions before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site. SPECIAL INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for one tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on January 30, 2018, at 2:00 PM. Bidders should meet in the main lobby public entrance of the AAFC Atlantic Cool Climate Crop Research Centre,308 Brookfield Rd., St. John’s, NL. Bidders are required to show identification and sign in to view premises. All visitors will be accompanied for duration of visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders must refer to General Instructions G2710T (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions (Code of Conduct and Certification) applicable to this requirement.
