Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Project No. R.059827.005 Extension of Time Notice is hereby given that the closing date for the reception of tenders previously due on the 4 October 2016 is extended to the 11 October 2016 at 14:00 hours. Bath, Ontario - E Unit Cell Upgrades Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of Correctional Service Canada (CSC) have a requirement to upgrade inmate cells and cell ranges at Millhaven Institution, Search and Control Building MHX, Highway 33, Bath, Ontario. Work shall be in accordance with Specification Project No. R.059827.005 dated 2015-06-26. Work includes but is not restricted to the following: 1. Abatement measures required for the removal of existing asbestos. 2. Removal of existing flooring. 3. Complete removal of lead paint at designated areas 4. Treatment of existing paint surfaces and painting throughout all areas. 5. New electrical including fixtures, alarms, detectors, switches and outlets throughout the cell ranges. 6. New mechanical grills, replacement of existing fixtures with new stainless steel units, as well as related plumbing upgrades within mechanical chases. 7. Removal, replacement and installation of inmate fixed furniture. 8. Installation of sheet steel and stainless sheet steel on walls at designated areas. MANDATORY SITE VISIT There will be a MANDATORY site visit on the 20th September 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at the front entrance ofMillhaven Institution, Highway 33, Bath, Ontario. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending, no later than 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16th. CSC requires at least48-hour prior notice to ensure gate passes are issued. Identification MUST be brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign theSite Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidderswho have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 54 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of theoffer.
