    Midland, Ontario - Lighting Retrofit and Washroom Upgrade
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of Environment Canada have a requirement for Lighting Retrofit and Washroom Upgrade at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre,16160 Highway 12 East, Midland, Ontario.  All Work shall be in accordance with Specification and Drawings dated  06/03/2016.
    
    SCOPE OF WORK
    
    The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment, required to complete the washroomrenovations and lighting upgrade.  This includes, but is not limited to, demolition, removals, architectural, mechanical, electrical work to replace all of the lighting fixtures, removal of existing wood ceiling and replacing it with an acoustic tile ceiling as well as replacement of plumbing fixtures and fittings, construction of new Universal Washroom, replacement of fixtures in the Staff Washroom, new coffee station, new pump for septic tank, replace utility tube at the Maintenance Shed and Display area.
    
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 20 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a MANDATORY site visit on the 22 November 2016 at 10:30 a.m.  Interested biddersare to meet at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Highway 12 East, Midland, Ontario. 
    
    Bidders should register with the Contracting Officer, Mary Caporusso at mary.caporusso@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca or 416-512-5859, to confirm their attendance and providethe name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, before close of business 18 November 2016. 
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit.Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
