Scope of Work
Work generally consists of two (2) new buildings that will each
contain a new backflow preventer, utility meter, piping,
mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and communication
equipment as further detailed within the specification
R.072510.001. Site 1 building is to be built using standard
construction methods. Site 2 building is to be a reinforced
precast concrete structure. Existing chambers, piping, servicing
and appurtenances will be removed. A new watermain will also be
installed at Site 3 to connect the existing 300mm diameter
watermain to the southerly 200mm diameter watermain.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on October  6, 2015 at 1:00pm.
Interested bidders are to meet at the Collins Bay Institution,
1455 Bath Road, Kingston, Ontario.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted.

Note:  All persons entering Institutional property may be
subject to search.

CONSTRUCTION TIME
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within
sixteen (16) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance
of the offer.

A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE
BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX  2 OF THE "ITT"
DOCUMENT)

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.    

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into,  and form part of the Tender and
Contract Documents.
