    Scope of Work
    Work consists of removal and disposal of the 65m existing floating dock, adjacent ramps (gangways), anchor chains, strut arms, and hardware; also the removal and disposal of the existing concrete floating breakwater anchoring lines and connections. The new floating dock, approximately 66m x 3m in size, along three new access ramps are to be fabricated and secured to existing anchors. Utility pedestals and lights are to be installed with power routed to an existing panel on shore is also required. The surrounding areas affected by construction activities are to be restored. The floating dock and breakwater are located off Big Tub Road in Tobermory, Ontario.
    
    Optional Site Visit
    An Optional site visit will be held on October 3, 2017 at noon (12:00pm). Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer,Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Interested bidders are to meet at Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue, 248 Big Tub Road, Tobermory, Ontario, N0H 2R0. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit.
    
    Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Note: Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not  have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
    
    The requirement must be completed on or before March 31, 2018.

    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementionedlist within a specified delay. Failureto provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
