    Scope of Work
    Big Creek NWA, Visitor Experience Improvements includes the following major elements: 
    Removal of existing timber fence, gates and signage, removal of fence and gates can only be done once new fence and gates have been installed for the protection of wildlife. 
    Expand and regrade existing parking lot.
    Supply and install of new timber fence c/w Aquaculture netting, new vehicular and pedestrian gate c/w Aquaculture netting, new signage, new benches, new educational node paving (granular surface) c/w limestone edging, new sod and new terraseeding.
    
    Optional Site Visit
    An Optional site visit will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at Big Creek National Wildlife Area, Canadian Wildlife Service Regional Operations Centre Main Office 535-695 Highway 59
    (Long Point Road), Port Rowan, Ontario, N0E 1M0. Bidders to meet in Parking Lot. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit.
    
    Bidders will be required to register with the Contracting Authority Bob Hassell prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending.  
    Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    The duration of work is eight (8) weeks from date of award.
    
    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS
    
    IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TOBIDDERS SI02)
    
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
