Nature of Requirements: 

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has a requirement for renovation at AAFC's London Research and Development Centre (LRDC). All work shall be in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. Project No. R.099747.001


SCOPE OF WORK:

The work of this Contract comprises fume hoods exhaust renovation of The Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) London Research and Development Centre (LRDC), located at 1391 Sandford St, London, ON; and further identified as London Exhaust Fume Hood Manifolding Project. 
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following as outlined in the design drawings and tender document.
.1         Demolition of existing independent fume hood exhaust fans and the associated mechanical duct, electrical power supply and control devices.
.2         Demolition of existing fume hoods as indicated and the associated mechanical duct connections up to above ceiling, power supply and control devices. Patch and make good existing architectural finishes to match existing.
.3         New architectural work as indicated on drawing.
.4         Installation of new centralized fume hood exhaust fan system complete with required air valves  and BAS control systems.
.5         Reconnection of existing fume hoods exhaust to new manifold exhaust system.
.6         Existing BAS control system upgrade and integration as required to accommodate new work as outlined in the tender document.
.7         Existing fume hoods ASHRAE 110 testing for PSPC MD15128 compliance and certification.
.8         Electrical system modifications as required to accommodate new mechanical installation.
.9         New structural support platform and roof level modification as required for new installation.
.10       General site requirement and phased construction as outlined in the tender document to allow the continuous operation of the facility.



PROJECT VALUE:

The estimated cost for this project is between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 HST extra. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

There will be a site visit on Wednesday July 24th at 1:00 pm. Interested bidders are to meet at 1391 Sandford Street, London, Ontario. The meeting point will be at main entrance.
