Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Accommodation Management, manages the office space needs of federal organizations. Working on behalf of federal government departments, Accommodation Management arranges for suitable office space using an appropriate mix of Crown-owned and leased arrangements. In addition, PSPC is responsible for the effective maintenance and operation of our office accommodations. Over the next five years, PSPC Accommodation Management, will be undertaking several projects that will support the office fit-up activities in Yellowknife. This program will require PSPC to purchase a variety of goods, services and construction services, through a competitive bidding process. The types of procurement opportunities that are expected to come out of this program include office design, construction and provision of leased space. Some of the services that will be required to support the various projects include: • Architectural and Engineering Services • Movers • Furniture suppliers • Furniture installers • Construction contractors • Landlords Procurement opportunities may be for single-project contracts, or standing offers or supply arrangements. It is also important to note that the contracts resulting from the procurement will require various levels of security clearances for the Organization and personnel involved with work. PSPC is committed to ensuring vendors and contractors are in a position to successfully bid on these upcoming requirements. As such, we have teamed up with the Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce to host an Industry Engagement Day on March 8, 2017, at the Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife. Topics covered at this session will include: - The Procurement Process - Registering as a Supplier - Finding procurement opportunities on Buyandsell.gc.ca - Completing the bid - Obtaining a Security Clearance Industry Engagement Day will begin with registration at 8:30 and end at 12:00 p.m. In the afternoon, experts will be on hand to answer specific questions about any of the topics listed above.
