Vauxhall Subsurface Drainage Upgrade

Requirement:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is seeking tenders for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision for the general construction activities of the Vauxhall Subsurface Drainage Upgrade project as described in issued for tender drawings and specifications, including but not limited to the following items:
.1 General Requirements
.2 Subsurface Drainage Networks
.3 Concrete Work
.4 Building Installation
.5 Electrical and Mechanical Systems

Contractor is also required to:

-Replace the existing sub-surface drainage systems with the designed requirement for the complete site. This includes the construction of a new Controls Building.
- To remove from the site all of the existing sub-surface drainage systems that are exposed due to the installation of the new sub-surface drainage system.
- To maintain safety and security of the work site and construction lay-down areas for the duration of the Contractors work at the site.


Contract Completion:  13 weeks from Contract award

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in the Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Packages (DSP) which consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 and  $1,000,000

NOTICE - MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on August 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM local time. Interested bidders are to meet at:

AAFC Test Facility Site main parking lot, Vauxhall AB;  walk will start in the main parking lot


The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

*Mandatory health and safety protection is to be worn by visitors.
