Title:  Barrier Installations at Various Locations 

Location:    Km 526 to Km 536 Alaska Highway, BC

Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract consists of barrier installations at various locations along Km 526 to Km 536 Alaska Highway, BC. For reference, Fort Nelson is located at Km 455, on the Alaska Highway. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1.) Remove and stockpile existing 690 mm high pre-cast concrete barriers and transitions;
2.) Prepare area for installation of new 810 mm high pre-cast concrete barriers;
3.) Supply and install 810 mm high pre-cast concrete barrier;
4.) Supply and install polyethylene drain pans and down pipe;
5.) Install supplied "No Stopping" signs.

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
There will be NO scheduled site visit.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority. All work must be completed no later than December 15, 2017.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $800,000.00.
