Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract consists of the complete reconstruction of the timber float (Float F and Float D) at Steveston (Gulf of Georgia) Site, located south of Third Avenue Road at Richmond, BC.  

The work generally consists of the supply of small tools, heavy equipment, operators and labourers, and the supply of materials to Site. Work Tasks as directed by the Departmental Representative. Work Tasks include, but are not limited to the following items:
-1. Mobilization / Demobilization.
-2. Timber Pile Extraction (12" and 14" creosote piles).
-3. Disposal of treated timber float and treated timber piles.
-4. Install owner supply timber float.
-5. Supply and Install steel pipe piles.

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Optional Site Visit:
There is NO scheduled site visit. 

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by March 31, 2019.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $280,000.00.

Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
