    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.     SI12 COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement and Certification has been added:
    This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. All Bidders must provide with their bid, the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification attached to this bid solicitation (Appendix 5).
    This Certification incorporated into the bid solicitation on its closing date is incorporated into, and forms a binding part of any resulting Contract. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive.
    
    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract consists of the repair work of the float and wharf in the Rushbrook Small Craft Harbour site, located at 299 George Hills Way, Prince Rupert, BC.  
    
    The work generally consists of the supply of small tools, heavy equipment, operators and labourers, and the supply of materials to Site. Work Tasks as directed by the Departmental Representative. Work Tasks include, but are not limited to the following items:
    -1. Mobilization / Demobilization.
    -2. Mooring Well Repair.
    -3. Stringer Replacement.
    -4. Bull Rail Replacement.
    -5. Wheel Guards Replacement.
    -6. Handrail Replacement.
    -7. Half Size Fiberglass Pontoon Installation.
    -8. Full Size Fiberglass Pontoon Installation.
    -9. Polyethylene Floatation Installation.
    -10. Wharf Decking Replacement.
    -11. Rub Boards Replacement.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Site Visit:
    There is NO scheduled site visit. 
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by February 18, 2022.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $100,001.00 to $500,000.00.
