    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bidders must not submit hard-copy bids outside of these times.
    
    Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.  
    
    Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary.
    
    Work Description:
    .1 The work is located within the grounds of the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) God’s Acre Cemetery, at 1190 Colville Road, Esquimalt, BC.
    .2 Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    .1 Installation of a new irrigation system, including backflow prevention
    .2 Selective removal of the existing irrigation system
    .3 Replacement of the building backflow prevention device
    
    OPTIONAL BIDDER’S CONFERENCE
    As part of the tender process, an optional online video meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 10:00am PST.  We encourage all bidders to attend this online video meeting.  The details for logging in to this meeting will be made available to all bidders who express an interest in attending by contacting the Contracting Authority before 3:00 pm PST on Monday, November 15, 2021.     The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by February 28, 2022.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000.
