Work Description:

Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the supply and installation and commissioning of two well pump assemblies and water mains and all related labour, equipment, plant and tools required for the groundwater well pumps and water main connections to the existing systems.  

The components of the work are generally described and covered further in the project specifications document are as follows:

- Mobilization of all necessary equipment, material and crew to the site.
- Supply and install two submersible vertical turbine well pump assemblies, one for each well.  
- Supply and install of the water mains from the wells to the termination point at the pumphouse
- Supply and installation of electrical conduits, conductors, transducers and components from the wells and flow meter chambers to the termination points at the pumphouse.
- Testing and commissioning of the two well pumps.
- Clean-up of the work area and demobilization of equipment and crew from the site, and 

All work is to be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications.

Site Visit:

A site visit is not scheduled.

Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Robertson Creek Hatchery is open to the public Mondays to Fridays 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed  by September 29, 2017.

Value of Project:

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $260,000.00 and $300,000.00
