    Work Description:
    
    To provide Landscape Maintenance services including all labour, material, equipment, supervision and transportation. Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, lawn care, grass cutting, pruning, raking of leaves, branch and litter pickup.  Requirements are further discussed in the Statement of Work attached at Annex A.  
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract and as shown on the drawings. 
    
    Mandatory Requirements:
    
    Part A - Bidder Previous Experience 
    The Bidder must have three (3) years experience providing Landscape Maintenance Services on a site consisting of grass and planted areas of least 2000m2 in area and in which the scope of work is similar in nature to the requirements in the Statement of Work (attached as Appendix A). Services must have been provided during the growing season of at least six (6) months each covering the landscape period of all of April to October of the same season and obtained within the last five (5) years.
    
    The bidder must provide valid evidence of its experience and past performance of at least one contract (up to a maximum of 3) which are similar in nature to the scope of work and completed without deductions or penalties. 
    
    Part B - Individual Personnel Requirements
    
    FULL TIME SUPERVISOR (LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE) EXPERIENCE
              
    The Full-time supervisor (landscape maintenance) must have 2 years supervisory experience working with a landscaping crew providing landscape maintenance services as per the Statement of Work. 
    
    Mandatory Site Visit:
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  
    
    There will be a site visit on March 22 at 10:00 am local time. Interested bidders are to meet at Traffic Lobby located at 28-176th Street Surrey,BC. 
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority at carolyn.arthur@pwgsc.gc.ca and michaela.costa@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
    Bids submitted by Bidders that did not attend the MANDATORY site visit will be declared non-responsive and given no further consideration. 
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper personal protection  equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The period of the contract shall be for a period of two years with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions. The estimated commencement date is April 1, 2018.

    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $80,000.00 and $90,000.00
