    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract comprises watermain construction and
    site work including:  connection to services, restoration of
    asphalt and gravel paving, miscellaneous site work as indicated.
    
    The work is located at the Mission Institution at 8751 Stave
    Lake Street, Mission, British Columbia, and in the municipal
    road right of way along Ihles Avenue Road, Mission, British
    Columbia.
    
    Thw work on the federally owned land of the Mission Institution
    is referred to in the Contract Documents as the "Onsite Works". 
    The work in the municipal road rights of way are referred to in
    the Contract Documents as the "Offsite Works".
    
    
    Site Visit:
    A site visit is scheduled on January 8, 2014 @ 09:30am local
    time.  Bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Site Office, Mission
    Institution located at 8751 Stave Lake Street, Mission B.C.
    
    Note: All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which
    meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
    visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top
    computers are allowed into institutions at any time.  All
    contractors attending the site visit must to able to provide a
    piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception
    in order to gain visitor access into institutions.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
    of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
    be completed within ten (10) weeks of contract award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
    is estimated to cost between $650,000 and $700,000.
