    Work Description:
    Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    
    Replacement of power operated vehicle exit control systems at two (2) CBSA Ports-of-Entry, including entry & exit gates, ticket dispensers and exit verifiers, computer servers and routers. All temporary means and facilities required to keep the Ports-of-Entry operational, safe and secure during the performance of the work.
    
    Site Visit: 
    Contractors are recommended to make inquiries necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the nature and extent of the work.
    
    An optional site visit is scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM local time.  Potential bidders will meet in the lobby of Pacific Highway Port-of-Entry’s Commercial Traffic Building located at
    28-176 Street, Surrey, BC.  A site visit will be conducted until approximately 10:45 at which time potential bidders will move on to Abbotsford-Huntingdon Port-of-Entry located at 2 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC.  The site visit will commence at approximately 11:30 AM local time.
    
    All potential bidders must wear a high visibility safety vest, which meets WCB standards, for this site visit.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work within 8 weeks of Contract award.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $400,000.00 and $450,000.00.
