Title: Marktosis Wharf Reconstruction

Marktosis Small Craft Harbour, Flores Island, BC

Work Description:
The nature of work consists of timber wharf repairs in the Marktosis Small Craft Harbours.  Refer to the drawings for detailed work scope and its associated location.  Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, covered further in the Contract:

1: Mobilization and Demobilization
2: Work includes but is not limited to the following:
*Replacements of all wharf and approach structure decking, handrails and guardrails
*Replacement of some wharf and approach structure cross-braces, pile-caps, stringers, and chocks
*Miscellaneous repairs including wharf and approach piles, waterline and wharf chain ladder
3: Supply of Materials
4: Site cleanup and disposal

Site Visit: 
Contractors are recommended to make inquiries necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the nature and extent of the work.

There is no site visit scheduled for this requirement.

Delivery Date: Mobilization for all on-site work must not start before January 28th, 2019 unless otherwise approved in writing by owner.  All work including clean-up and demobilization must be completed by March 18, 2019.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $300,000.00 and $350,000.00.
