    Note to Tenderers:

    TITLE:
    Purfleet Point Range 
    
    LOCATION: 
    Western Tip of Annacis Island on the Fraser Rivernear Richmond, BC. 
    
    WORK DESCRIPTION:
    Work of this Contract comprises the supply of equipment, labour, and materials for the performance of all work as required by the Contract Documents. 
    
    All replaced items, cut-offs and waste material shall be disposed by the contractor in strict accordance with provincial, local, and municipal regulations and Part 8 of the National Building Code and with the Canadian Construction Safety Code.
    
    The demolition and construction activities carried out under this contract includes the supply and installation of two Range Marker platforms complete with aluminum daymark boards in the Fraser River at Annacis Island, BC. 
    
    The work generally consists of, but is not limited to the following items:
    - Mobilization/Demobilization;
    - Removal of the existing front and rear Purfleet Range dolphins and towers;
    - Removal of an abandoned dolphin;
    - Supply and installation of front and rear Purfleet Range dolphins and towers complete with access ladders as shown on the drawings; and
    - Supply and installation of aluminum range daymark boards.
    
    SITE VISIT:
    There is no scheduled site visit. However, bidders may visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work, and make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site, as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    Important Notes: Travel to and from the site is at the Bidder’s own expense and risk. Bidders are responsible for familiarizing themselves and complying with public health protocols in effect for COVID-19, including travel restrictions. 
    
    ELIVERY DATE:
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2021.
    
    VALUE OF PROJECT:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 and $500,000.
