TITLE:

General Electrical Maintenance Standing Offer 

LOCATION: 

Esquimalt Graving Dock - Victoria, BC

WORK DESCRIPTION:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Esquimalt Graving Dock (EGD), is inviting Offerors to submit bids for the General Electrical Standing Offer.  The selected Offeror shall provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and transportation required for general electrical maintenance, repair, modifications, and minor electrical services on an as and when requested basis by PWGSC, EGD, in Victoria, BC.

PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER: 

It is PWGSC's intention to authorize up to one (1) Standing Offer for a period of one (1) year with three (3) options to extend the Standing Offer for an additional consecutive twelve (12) month period.  The total dollar value of the Standing Offer is estimated to be $210,000.00 (GST included).  Individual call-ups will vary, up to a maximum of $80,000.00 (GST incl).  Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be called-up; PWGSC will issue call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

1.  There will be a site visit on December 12, 2018 at 10:00am local time. Interested bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Project Trailer located at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC.  Interested contractors are required to provide their name(s) and company name(s) to Danielle Chiasson (604) 349-7097 or danielle.chiasson@pwgsc.gc.ca by December 11, 2018 at 10:00am local time if you will be attending the site visit.  The front gate commissionaire will only allow access to the site if previous visitor information is provided and names appear on the visitor list.  

2.  Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor’s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
