Work Covered by Contract
The works consist of the replacement of the existing water cooled chiller and cooling tower, associated pumps with a new air cooled heat pump and building automation controls work.  

The work on this contract includes coordination and cooperation with building personnel working on the site. Exact details are found in the contract drawings and specifications. 


Optional Site Visit
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

There will be a site visit on February 25, 2020 at 10:00 am PDT. Interested bidders are to meet at the entrance of Pacific Environmental Science Centre (PESC), 2645 Dollarton Hwy, North Vancouver, BC  V7H 1B1 site.

In order to be guaranteed access to the site all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

Completion of the Work 
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (24) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.  

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $250,001 to $500,000. 

Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should obtain documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.  Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
