Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: NOTE TO BIDDERS: Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Winnipeg will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 am to 11 am, and Tuesday, 9 am to 2 pm (local time). Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Saskatoon Research and Development Centre, Laboratory Wing Chiller Replacement Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to the following at the AAFC Saskatoon Research and Development Centre: the removal of the existing rooftop air-cooled chiller, and replacement with a new air-cooled chiller; a secondary air-cooled chiller and fluid cooler shall be provided, both on new steel structure; all electrical and controls work required for the new installation and all the chiller water piping modifications and installation required for the operation of the chillers and fluid cooler are included in the Work; the existing chiller pumps are to be removed and replaced with new chiller pumps; as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification. THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS AN INDUSTRIAL SECURITY REQUIREMENT For further instructions please consult "Special Instruction to Bidders", SI13, "Industrial Security Related Requirements" and "Supplementary Conditions" SC01 "Industrial Security Related Requirements, Document Safeguarding Location". OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit at 9:30 am CST on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Saskatoon Research and Development Centre (SRDC), 107 Science Place, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Interested firms are required to contact the Contracting Authority in advance by email (e-mail address is: dan.mcruer@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca) to book the site visit. Site visit attendees are to sign-in and meet at the Commissionaires Desk on the main floor (front foyer) of the SRDC. Parking will be available on the west side. Only one representative per firm will be permitted to attend the site visit. The deadline for contacting the Contracting Authority is Friday, July 30 2021, at 14:00 CST. Firms who contact the Contracting Authority after this date and time may not be able to book a site visit. The maximum number of bidders allowed to attend the visit will be 10. If registry exceeds this number, a second site visit will be scheduled for the same day at 11:00 am CST. All bidders are to follow COVID-19 provincial and federal guidelines. Due to COVID-19, social distancing and wearing a self-supplied mask will be mandatory during the site visit. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000. Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the bid and contract documents.
