    The work to be done by the Contractor under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, insurance, and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of all work as more fully specified in the solicitation documents.
    
    The work site described in this specification is located in the town of Hay River, Northwest Territories. Hay River is located at the mouth of the Hay River at Great Slave Lake, approximately 1050 kilometres north of Edmonton, Alberta. It is accessible by year round highway access.
    
    .1 The scope of work under this Contract, includes but is not limited to the following:
    .1 Establish traffic and pedestrian protection.
    .2 Install temporary floats and gangway for access to floating docks.
    .3 Excavate to limits indicated for new granular base.
    .4 Remove and dispose off-site existing CSP culvert.
    .5 Remove and dispose off site existing steel channel cap, bollards welded to cap channel, and any miscellaneous steel or wood at sheet piling within excavation limits.
    .6 Remove and salvage remaining steel bollards on concrete bases and one steel stair.
    .7 Remove top of transverse concrete deadman and repair.
    .8 Remove top of existing concrete bollard bases. 
    .9 Provide new steel cap channel.
    .10 Provide new steel shelf angles c/w dowels.
    .11 Provide new ladders.
    .12 Provide new 450 mm dia. PVC culvert.
    .13 Repair gap in sheet pile at location indicated. Plug holes at sheet pile outpans with geotextile.
    .14 Construct new deck slabs.
    .15 Provide new steel pipe curb.
    .16 Reinstall five salvaged bollards c/w new nuts and washers.
    .17 Provide three new steel bollards.
    .18 Reinstall one steel stair c/w brackets.
    .19 Regrade at west and north limits of new deck slab.
    .20 Remove temporary float access, traffic, and pedestrian protection. 
    
    Work is estimated to be completed within 20 weeks after contract award. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, the estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,000 to $1,000,000 .
    
    LISTING OF SUBCONTRACTORS:
    Take note that R2710T, GI07 “Listing of Subcontractors and Suppliers” has been amended. See SI10 of the Special Instructions.
