    Work of this Contract comprises the following upgrades at Osborne Community Correctional Centre, 1048 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba:
    
    .1 Basement modifications to suit renovations at floors above,
    .2 Main floor kitchen, parole offices and boardroom,
    .3 Second floor washrooms and showers,
    .4 All related structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
    
    The Postal Station B is designated as "Recognized" by the Federal Heritage Building Review Office (FHBRO).
    
    Construct work to occur in stages to accommodate Owner's continued use of premises during construction. 
    
    Refer to the drawings and specifications for complete Scope of Work.
    
    Work is estimated to be completed within 41 weeks after contract award. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, the estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,000 to $1,000,000.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on 6 August 2019 at 1330 (CDT). Interested bidders are to meet and sign in at the Front Desk, 1048 Main Street. Photo identification may be requested by Correctional Services Canada. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.
    
    LISTING OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS: Take note that R2710T, GI07 "Listing of Subcontractors and Suppliers" has been amended. See SI10 of the Special Instructions. Failure to do so will result in the disqualification of its bid.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.
