    OVERVIEW 
    
    The work required is tobe carried out on the site of the Maurice Lamontagne Institute (MLI) in Sainte-Flavie, a marine research center for Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
    
    The work basically consists in:
     - Replacement of vertical and horizontal heat pumps
     - Replacement of the room controls.
     - Installation of a new heat pump in the room B131.
     - Modification of a humidifier in the room A522.
     - General Work including:
         • Removing and re-installing the suspended ceiling.
         • Protection of the furniture.
         •Fire proof sealant.
         • Removing and re-installation of the lighting, sprinkers and other equipment in the ceiling for the completion of the work.
         • Removing and re-installation of the acoustic and« paraline » ceiling.
         • Drilling, patchingand painting the ceilings and gypsum walls.
         • Cleaning.
    
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    The Bidder must enclose a bid security with its bid.
    
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on Thursday January 19, 2017, at 9:00 am.Interested bidders are to meet at :

    Bidders are requested to send the list of participants to each of the visits by email at Gabriel.Piras@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than Wednesday, January 18,2017, at 13:00.
    
    
    CONSTRUCTION TIME
    
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty-eight (28) weeks (26 weeks plus 2 weeks of summer construction holidays) from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
