    OVERVIEW :
    
    The work to be done as indicated in the current contract consists primarily, but is not limited to: the repair of the left flank of the Ursulines Bastion. This project is part of the Quebec fortifications masonry reparation program. The Ursulines Bastion is located at the north-west of the St-Louis Gate and give on the Parc de L’Esplanade 
    in Quebec City, Quebec.  
    
    These restoration and conservation works pertaining to heritage elements include, but is not limited to, the dismantling and rebuilding of the rear retaining wall, the excavation and the complete reconstruction of the headwalls, the repair of certain damaged, but recoverable, exposed stones, the provision of new green sandstone, the rebuilding of the masonry core up to a certain depth, various interventions on the existing buttresses, temporary shoring of the walls, repointing certain wall sections, the installation of a drainage system, as well as all other related works pertaining to the rehabilitation of the left flank of the Ursulines Bastion.
    
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    The Bidder must enclose a bid security with its bid.

    There will be a site visit on Thursday March 1st, 2018 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the following address :

    CONSTRUCTION TIME
    
    The Contractor must perform and have completed the Work by November 2, 2018.
