Trade Agreement: NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: TITLE: CCGS PIERRE RADISSON - DOORS AND HATCHES DESCRIPTION: Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Canadian Coast Guard, has a requirement for the supply and delivery of doors and hatches, in accordance with the technical specifications described in the Annex A - Requirement, of the document of the tender notice. Bidders' Conference (Not mandatory) A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held on board the Vessel at Section 30 of the port of Quebec, Quebec, QC, on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at 13:30 p.m. EDT. An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, May 16th, 2016. It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder attend the Bidders’ Conference in order to review the Scope of the Work required and to receive additional information and clarifications. Bidders are to communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders that do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid. Bidders are to provide the Contracting Authority with the names of their representatives no later than two (2) days prior to the conference. The Contracting Authority will have an attendance form which is to be signed by the Bidder's representative(s) in attendance. Bidders are advised that any clarifications or changes resulting from the Bidder’s conference and/or the subsequent viewing of the vessel, shall be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation document. Viewing - Vessel (Not mandatory) A visit of the vessel will be held immediately after the Bidder’s conference. DELIVERY: All the deliverables must be received on or before 2016-08-31. TRADE AGREEMENTS: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). TENDER DOCUMENTS Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tenders site. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the same site. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
